Why Street Intifada

From the West End to the West Bank, Globalize the Intifada!

In Arabic, Intifada انتفاضة means “to shake off.” Our Palestinian comrades have used the word Intifada in their struggle to describe a righteous rebellion against the settler-colonizers — quite literally to shake off the boot of the oppressor.

A collective of artists, organizers, resistors came together to make this offering to steward more people into global resistance, starting with our Atlanta streets. Wheat-pasting, and other agitprop (agitational propaganda)activities, are a cheap and small but necessary first step in taking action against the genocidal states of the world. Our hope is that you start with a wheat paste of Black and Palestine Solidarity art and escalate from there. Most anybody can do it with very little resources but the impact is major!

In a moment when the severity of contradictions of imperialism are made clear to us all, we have no choice but to align ourselves with the people of the world and boldly declare that we will fight until imperial domination is extinguished from the planet. The streets of Atlanta must tell the truth of the moment we are in: we are in complete solidarity with Palestine and Palestine is in solidarity with us. The occupation will end, cop city will never be built, we will resist by any means necessary. There is only one solution, intifada revolution.

Here’s some examples of what we’ve seen up around our city. Please check out the links on our site for some specific ATL – Palestine art. If this art isn’t cutting it then please make your own!
